About This Work

The official ASMR work for the anime "The Detective Is Already Dead", supervised by original author Nigozyu, written by Igarashi Yuusaku and illustrated by Umibouzu, with Siesta voiced by her anime voice actress Miyashita Saki. It follows a single day spent alone with Siesta — from waking up together, through work, lunch and an afternoon massage, to a tipsy evening and falling asleep side by side. About 90 minutes across eight tracks; WAV and MP3 included.

Editor's Review

The highest-rated release in this roundup is a proper licensed tie-in: Siesta is voiced by Miyashita Saki, her voice in the anime, and the script was written under the supervision of original author Nigozyu, so it sounds like the character rather than an approximation of her. The structure is simple and cozy — one uninterrupted day with Siesta, moving from morning work and lunch to a massage, a tipsy evening, and a co-sleeping track with her breathing and heartbeat. At around 90 minutes it's an easy single-session listen. One note for overseas fans: the listing says the work is offered as a product for Japan, so check that the purchase button is available in your region before planning around it.

Best New ASMR Releases on DLsite — November 2026

October was a busy month for DLsite ASMR, with a steady stream of licensed anime and game tie-ins alongside the usual flood of circle releases — and almost none of it gets an English write-up. For this edition we looked at every work released between October 9 and November 3, 2026 that was trending on DLsite when we checked, then narrowed it down using early ratings, sales, and each work's official story and track list. The result is five releases: three all-ages picks, including official works for The Detective Is Already Dead and Stella Sora, and two R18 picks that couldn't be more different in mood.
